Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Full Time Warehouse Lead and Load Out Supervisor to join our fast-paced distribution center team. This pivotal role combines leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on management of warehouse activities to ensure seamless distribution center operations. As a key player in our logistics network, you will oversee daily warehouse functions, supervise team members, and coordinate load-out processes to meet operational goals efficiently. Duties
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff during daily operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met consistently.
- Oversee load-out activities, coordinating shipping and receiving schedules to optimize throughput and minimize delays.
- Manage inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems like Bearware, RF scanners, and other materials handling equipment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely to move goods efficiently within the warehouse.
- Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with logistics teams, 3PL providers, and other stakeholders to streamline distribution center operations and support e-commerce fulfillment demands.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and warehouse activities using Microsoft Office tools and WMS platforms.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and accountability.
Skills
- Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Proven leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or team management experience.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems such as AS400 or equivalent WMS platforms; familiarity with RF scanners is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment operation including heavy lifting techniques.
- Strong managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams, resolve conflicts, and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling practices, and distribution center workflows.
- Ability to implement process improvements using lean management principles for continuous operational enhancement.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Experience supporting warehouse functions within e-commerce settings or 3PL logistics providers is advantageous.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
