Position Overview
We are looking for a safety-focused CDL Class A Driver / Technician to join our Denver team. Zedcor is seeking driven people who are looking for long-term careers with opportunity for upward mobility. This is not a driving-only position. The role includes transporting, setting up, servicing, repairing, mobilizing, and demobilizing security surveillance towers at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Must have a valid CDL Class A license with at least 2 years of experience.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Working knowledge of DOT Hours of Service cycle and experience with ELD use.
- Forklift, equipment, telehandler, and front-end loader experience is a strong plus.
- Mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, or general technical ability is a big plus.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and performing hands-on work, not just driving.
- Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to follow company procedures.
- Some travel may be required, usually no more than 2 nights at a time and working hours range from 40 to 70 hours per week.
- Be able to lift 70 pounds and working in changing weather conditions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Safely operate company vehicles and transport equipment to and from customer sites.
- Set up and take down security surveillance towers.
- Mobilize and demobilize towers and related equipment as needed.
- Perform service, repairs, inspections, and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
- Perform light maintenance on loaders, trailers, and related equipment as part of daily responsibilities.
- Keep company vehicles, trailers, loaders, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and professional in appearance.
- Understand that company vehicles and equipment act as moving billboards and should represent the company well at all times.
- Assist with loading, unloading, securing, and staging equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and vehicle.
- Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and customers while on site.
Safety Expectations
- Safety is priority number one.
- Follow all DOT, company, and customer site safety requirements.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required.
- Use proper PPE and safe work practices at all times.
- Report hazards, equipment issues, incidents, or concerns immediately.
