E&S Automotive Solutions an family operated automotive repair business is seeking a dynamic and organized Office Administrator / Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be the vital link between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and efficiently manage their check-in process for vehicle service appointments
- Provide detailed explanations of vehicle repairs and maintenance needs using automotive diagnostics and estimating software
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, and transmission services to enhance customer value
- Write clear and accurate service estimates and repair orders while maintaining thorough documentation of all transactions
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle repairs, mechanical issues, and estimated timeframes
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments securely
- Follow up with clients post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business through excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive service management role within a dealership or repair shop environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, collision repair, transmissions, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repair, and oil changes preferred
- Experience with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle estimating tools perferred
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services confidently while prioritizing customer needs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed
