We are looking for a civil engineer to join our company. This individual will participate and lead teams to design small to large projects.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years minimal experience working as an engineer in a team environment
Civil/Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Lead, review and assist in the preparation of design concepts, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documentation.
- Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing of concrete, steel, and timber structures.
- Analyze static and dynamic loading on laterally performing structures including the impact of soil-structure interaction and designing foundations for waterfront structures.
- Ability to monitor project progress, set deadlines, solve technical issues so that scopes of work are fulfilled and contracted deliverables are submitted on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare/review design calculations and check calculations.
- Coordinates design drawings with fellow engineers and drafting technicians.
- Actively assists in writing technical reports and manuals as needed.
- Participate in site inspections and rehabilitation of waterfront infrastructure such as marine structures, marinas, ports, etc.
- Perform design checks as part of the LEI quality metrics and best practices.
- Providing technical support during the construction phase of waterfront projects, including reviewing submittals, shop drawings, responding to requests for information (RFIs), and conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Experience in AutoCAD and assist in preparing design drawings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
