Duties
- Assist with framing, carpentry, and framing to create sturdy structures.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to support construction activities.
- Install rebar, perform concrete forming, mixing, pumping, and finishing to ensure durable foundations and surfaces.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately to follow project specifications.
- Conduct renovation and restoration tasks such as plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, and flooring installation.
- Support site safety by adhering to protocols during heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of various trades such as masonry, carpentry, roofing, and concrete work.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, climbing scaffolds or ladders, and performing demanding manual tasks.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment where applicable.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols on construction sites.
