What You'll Do
As a Machinist, you'll learn to set up, operate, and monitor precision CNC machining equipment used to manufacture critical aerospace components and forged products. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in a safety-focused environment while developing skills that will support a lifelong career in advanced manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Operate CNC machining equipment following established work instructions
- Read blueprints, work instructions, and measurement specifications
- Perform basic measurements using precision measuring tools
- Load and unload materials while monitoring machine performance
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot basic machining issues and communicate production concerns
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality goals
- Continuously develop machining knowledge and technical skills through ATI training programs

Basic Qualifications
- Commitment to working safely in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and receive hands-on training
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable attendance
- Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension
- Ability to read instructions and perform simple measurements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
