MUST SUPPLY PERSONAL OWNED VEHCILE. MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including trucks with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to logistics cargo handling protocols and safety regulations.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across rural areas.
- Deliver mail, parcels, freight, and hazardous materials in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Handle dangerous goods with proper safety procedures and documentation.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports throughout your shift.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform manual handling tasks safely during loading/unloading processes.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred.
- Proven experience in delivery driving or logistics cargo handling; familiarity with route driving is a plus.
- Ability to operate trucks with manual transmissions and handle specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks when necessary.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT safety standards.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy packages and perform manual handling tasks regularly.
- Excellent navigation skills using GPS systems for efficient route planning in rural settings.
- Prior experience with freight transportation including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, or roll-off trucks is advantageous.

Pay: From $26.27 per hour
