Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support the culinary team.
- Support catering events or banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Adhere to sanitation standards and safety protocols at all times to create a safe working environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and food safety standards.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
