Wellspring Homecare LLC DBA Ann’s & Burgoyne Rest Home is an emerging home care organization that supports the decision of our seniors and their families to live independently and safely in our residential homes. Wellspring Homecare is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to support the financial and administrative operations of the organization. The ideal candidate must possess strong QuickBooks knowledge, excellent organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations.
Bookkeeping & Financial Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Process invoices, payments, deposits, and expense tracking.
- Maintain organized financial files and records.
- Assist with payroll coordination and reporting as needed.
- Support tax preparation and audit processes by organizing financial documentation.
- Monitor financial deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to management and office staff.
- Maintain organized office filing systems and records.
- Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and office communications.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist visitors professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding financial and employee information.
- Assist with data entry and document preparation.
- Support operational projects and special assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience using QuickBooks is REQUIRED.
- Previous bookkeeping and administrative experience preferred.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Pay: $25.51 - $35.00 per hour
