The Wyld Blue Assistant Store Manager will support the store manager in all activities to achieve store business objectives, ensuring an unparalleled client experience.
The ideal candidate must perform with a high level of integrity and support the operations of the store with an emphasis on delivering a welcoming and genuine client experience and product knowledge, and visual merchandising. The Assistant Store Manager leads by example, takes initiative, has great style, a passion for fashion, and is inquisitive.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Experience and Store Culture
- Understand the Wyld Blue brand framework, have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for the concept, the client, and the merchandise
- Leads by example to support the cultivation of a welcoming environment of genuine customer connection and encourages the team to build lasting relationships through personalized service, product recommendations, and connecting with the customer
- Create meaningful, lasting relationships with clients by building trust and credibility through extensive product knowledge and community events.
- Positively resolve client issues as they arise
- Promote brand awareness & help capture competitive market share through community outreach & sponsored events
Talent and Team Development
- Help facilitate onboarding for new hires to drive a strong brand customer & store connection
- Fosters a culture of communication and teamwork to ensure a balance between customer service, operational tasks, and visual needs; stays current and responds to interoffice communication while supporting the store manager as necessary to ensure important company information reaches all levels of the team
- Coach sales associates with clear, concise, and actionable feedback
- Adhere to and validate our compliance practices
Operational Excellence
- Master all company tools and applications including Shopify and Insperity, and ensure team is constantly informed of relevant updates
- Contributes to upholding all policies daily operating procedures
- Leads the team in absence of the store manager in daily maintenance of store including restocking products, maintaining visual merchandising standards, ticketing, and cleaning
- Actively participates and is accountable for the integrity of the store inventory, and executing the processing of daily incoming and outbound merchandise requests and shipments
- Supports merchandising and display presentations to create a compelling atmosphere
Leading the Business
- Drive team to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performances, contributing to the success of the entire store
- Assist the store manager in executing strategies and action plans that support an exceptional client experience and deliver monthly results
- Local market knowledge of clientele base and brand competitors
- Aware of business trends that relate to the success of the store
- Develop business acumen through KPI’s to support business driving strategies
- Assist in training the team on current collection, consignment brands, and ready to wear brands & product knowledge to all associates to ensure the team is fully educated on brand pillars & seasonal strategy
- Participates as the manager-on-duty by driving engagement through communication, adaptability, and fostering a collaborative selling environment; exhibits strong decision-making and multi-tasking capabilities
- Provide effective product feedback based on store needs
- Identify opportunities to increase traffic flow, attract new clients, and build loyal relationships with the brand
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years Retail Management experience, preferably with a specialty/luxury retailer
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Proven track record of building locale clientele, and strong sales generation
- Strong attention to detail and, proven track record of driving business
- Exceptionally strong work ethic
- Executive mindset, but with a hands-on approach
- Excellent verbal skills
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about fashion
- Experienced and motivated in meeting business targets
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
