We are looking for a talented and driven Motion Graphics Designer / Animator to join our team and help bring compelling, broadcast-ready visual stories to life.
The Role: We are seeking a versatile Motion Graphics Designer / Animator who thrives in a fast-paced post-production environment. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating high-quality motion graphics for broadcast television and commercial projects.
This position operates on a structured hybrid schedule (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in-studio; Wednesday and Friday remote). For remote days, you will be provided with a company laptop to remote directly into our studio workstations and servers. Candidates must also remain flexible to work in the studio for a full week on the rare occasions when clients request in-person supervised editing sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adaptable Design: Design and animate complex 2D (and potentially 3D) motion graphics, adapting your style to fit a diverse roster of clients.
- Creative Problem Solving: Take the lead on visual direction when clients are unsure of what they want, providing strong, proactive concepts and options.
- Bulletproof Organization: Maintain impeccably organized project files, layer structures, and workflows so that other team members can seamlessly jump in to cover during vacations or time off.
- Seamless Integration: Integrate motion graphics and visual effects smoothly into live-action broadcast footage.
- Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict broadcast deadlines.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in motion graphics and animation, specifically for broadcast television or high-end commercial production.
- Highly proficient in Adobe After Effects. * Strong working knowledge of video editing in Adobe Premiere Proand/or Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid foundation in graphic design with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
- Continuous Growth: A strong interest in expanding your arsenal of skills with compositing and visual effects to continuously improve the quality of our productions.
- AI Tool Integration: A strong interest in testing and integrating AI tools into the workflow. You must view AI as a tool to enhance and speed up the process, not something that does the creating for you.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong portfolio/reel showcasing your broadcast animation work.
- Reliable home internet connection for remote-access days.
Bonus Skills (Optional but preferred):
- Experience with color grading workflows.
