Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and current best practices in speech therapy.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based techniques tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent support across environments.
- Monitor progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies to optimize outcomes for each patient.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in speech-language pathology, including early intervention strategies and physiology knowledge.
Experience
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school settings or clinical environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of speech therapy techniques specific to early intervention and pediatrics.
- Familiarity with patient care procedures, patient assessment methods, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children of various ages and their families while maintaining a compassionate approach.
