Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and possess mechanical knowledge to work effectively in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for welding such as cutting, grinding and fitting
- Weld using primarily Mig machines
- Utilize hand tools for welding and fitting tasks
- Work with precision to achieve desired results
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in welding and fabrication a must
- Proficiency in using forklifts for material handling preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations a must
- Ability to read tape measure, both fractions and decimal measurements
- Ability to operate machinery and perform machining tasks preferred
- Familiarity with materials handling
- Capability to fabricate and work with various materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Efficient use of time and ability to move to next task without being told
