Arctic Aquatics Swim Club (ARCT) is a rapidly growing USA Swimming club founded in 2021, serving more than 100 competitive swimmers throughout the Greater Boston area. Our mission is to develop athletes through technical excellence, character, and a lifelong love of swimming.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Age Group Assistant Coach & Foundational Program Coach to join our coaching staff. This position works closely with the Head Coach to deliver high-quality training, support athlete development, and help foster a positive team culture.
Location
- Weekday Practices: Monday–Friday evenings in Weston, MA
- Weekend Practices: Saturdays and Sundays in Waltham, MA
- Swim Meets: Approximately one weekend meet per month
Start Date: August 25, 2026
Responsibilities
- Coach assigned practice groups while adapting instruction to swimmers of varying ages, abilities, and experience levels
- Assist in implementing training plans developed by the Head Coach
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging practice environment
- Organize swimmers and ensure compliance with facility rules and team policies
- Take attendance and monitor swimmer participation
- Attend competitions and provide race-day coaching, organization, and athlete support
- Communicate with parents professionally as needed
- Maintain all required coaching certifications and remain in good standing with USA Swimming and New England Swimming
Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience with elementary and middle school-aged swimmers preferred
- Competitive swimming background required
- Current USA Swimming Coach Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Schedule:
· 15–25 hours per week
· Competitive pay based on experience

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
