Job Overview
Netlink Inc. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented CCTV / Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and service a wide range of low-voltage systems for both commercial and residential clients.
You will work with today's leading security technologies while helping customers protect their homes, businesses, and assets. Every project is different, offering the opportunity to continuously develop your technical skills and work with cutting-edge security solutions.
Responsibilities
-Install, configure, troubleshoot, and service:
- CCTV surveillance systems
- Access control systems
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Burglar alarm systems
- Fire alarm systems
- Intercom and communication systems
-Run and terminate low-voltage cabling while following NEC standards.
-Configure IP cameras, NVRs, networking equipment, and remote viewing applications.
-Diagnose and repair hardware, wiring, networking, and system issues in the field.
-Coordinate with contractors and construction teams during new installations and renovations.
-Provide professional customer service and educate clients on proper system operation.
-Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and committed to doing quality work.
Required:
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience installing or servicing CCTV and low-voltage systems
- Previous employment with a low-voltage or security systems company
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in attics, ceilings, and outdoor environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- electrical/low voltage background is a MUST
- Professional attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred (Not Required):
- FASA/BASA Certification
- Telecommunications, low-voltage, or electrical certifications
- Experience with access control systems
- Fire alarm installation experience
- Networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches, PoE)
