What You'll Do
As an Intensive In-Community Therapist, you will provide individualized, strengths-based therapeutic services in clients' homes, schools, and community settings. Working collaboratively with families and treatment teams, you will help clients build healthier coping skills, improve relationships, and work toward meaningful treatment goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide in-home and community-based individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT-informed interventions, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, family systems approaches, solution-focused therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions when appropriate.
- Collaborate with parents, schools, psychiatrists, care managers, physicians, and other providers to coordinate quality care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations using effective de-escalation and safety planning strategies.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active New Jersey license (LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LMFT, or license eligible where applicable).
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Experience working with trauma, behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, developmental disabilities, or related diagnoses is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative with a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned service areas.

Pay: $60.00 - $85.00 per hour
