Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Probiotic Lab Chemist to support our research, development, and quality control efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, biochemistry, or a related field, with hands-on experience in probiotic analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological and chemical analyses of probiotic strains and finished products.
- Experienced with USP<64> <2021><2022><61><62>.
- Operate PCR and Flow Cytometer independently.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Ability to operate incubators, autoclave, pH meter, automated colony counter and other related instruments.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in probiotics, food science, or pharmaceuticals.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with probiotic strain identification and characterization.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for dietary supplements and functional foods.
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, DNA sequencing).
