Position Overview
We are currently hiring passionate and dedicated Daycare Teachers across multiple age groups, including Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten. Whether you are experienced in a specific age group or open to where you are needed most, we want to hear from you. Our teachers are the heart of our school, and we are committed to supporting your growth every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children in your care
- Implement Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum activities appropriate to your assigned age group
- Observe, document, and communicate children's development and progress to families
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom
- Follow all Minnesota childcare licensing regulations, health guidelines, and school safety procedures
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to support a positive school culture
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Prior experience working with children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is a plus
- Ability to meet Minnesota Department of Human Services childcare staff qualifications
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults
- Reliable, punctual, and a committed team player
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
