Clinical Coordinator
Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator provides leadership, oversight, and direction for all clinical operations within the organization's behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment programs. This position is responsible for supervising Clinical Supervisors, ensuring quality client care, maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing clinical staff and services, and supporting program development and performance improvement initiatives. The Clinical Coordinator reports to the Chief Executive Officer and functions as an integral member of the Leadership team.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, or a related field. Active, unrestricted California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
Licensed and eligible to provide clinical supervision in accordance with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) regulations. Minimum five (5) years of experience in clinical supervision, behavioral health leadership, and/or program management. Minimum three (3) years of experience in substance use disorder treatment and recovery services. Knowledge of addiction treatment, co-occurring disorders, ASAM Criteria, evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction principles. Knowledge of DHCS regulations, Medi-Cal requirements, CARF standards, HIPAA, quality assurance, and clinical documentation requirements. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, training, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR). Valid California Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance, and professional liability insurance. Current CPR and First Aid certifications. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide oversight and leadership for all clinical operations and treatment services.
· Directly supervise Clinical Supervisors and ensure effective supervision of licensed and pre-licensed clinical staff.
· Ensure compliance with DHCS, Medi-Cal, HIPAA, CARF, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
· Oversee clinical intake, assessment, treatment planning, discharge planning, and documentation practices for all programs in IVRS system of care.
· Maintain and implement clinical policies, procedures, and evidence-based treatment standards.
· Provide consultation and support regarding complex clinical cases, crisis intervention, and client care needs.
· Lead treatment team meetings, utilization review, performance improvement, and outcome-monitoring activities.
· Lead comprehensive group fidelity assessments to evaluate program adherence, document findings, and identify actionable areas for improvement
· Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and administrative teams to ensure integrated client care.
· Organize and provide staff training, clinical guidance, and professional development opportunities.
· Support internship and practicum programs and collaborate with educational institutions as appropriate.
· Participate in strategic planning, program development, budgeting, grant initiatives, and organizational growth efforts.
· Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in behavioral health treatment.
· Maintain client confidentiality and uphold all ethical, professional, and agency standards.
· Attend required meetings and trainings and perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.
Essential Job Functions:

Pay: $130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
