Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in assembling dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Follow strict food safety and handling procedures to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques, grilling and food preparation methods
- Knowledge of safety standards in production and food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Excellent understanding of menu planning, meal prep, and catering processes
- Commitment to food safety management and adherence to health regulation.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
