Responsibilities

- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for efficient service.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food prep, plating, and cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff on menu planning ideas and special dietary requests when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
- Experience working in fine dining environments or catering services is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
