Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Promote and sell retail products and financial services, including retail lending options when applicable
- Handle cash transactions accurately by processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and managing the cash drawer with precision
- Maintain accurate data entry of sales transactions, customer information, and inventory records using financial software systems
- Support loan processing and collections activities by verifying customer details and following up on outstanding payments
- Manage retail math tasks such as calculating discounts, totals, and change while ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and stock levels to ensure an inviting environment for customers
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or retail store environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and financial data entry
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently using 10 key typing skills
- Experience with banking or financial services, including loan collections or processing, is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer operations, cash management, and cashiering responsibilities effectively
