Purpose of Position: To work with a team to assemble high-quality furnishings while helping achieve company goals and KPIs.
Position Overview: Prestwick Assemblers are responsible for assembling our products using a range of power tools and fasteners. They must ensure that the items they assemble are produced in a way that is efficient, safe, timely, and focused on quality. The Assemblers must also update the Production Supervisor or Production Manager regarding any issues or needs that may arise during the process. The following are some of the expectations and responsibilities of this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews provided information and prints. Pulls correct parts and assembles products per requirements using the necessary/established steps.

Maintains work area and organizes/puts away tools, supplies, and materials in the assigned locations.

Communicate with leadership and other team members regarding problems, concerns, status, and improvement ideas.

Seeks to improve job knowledge.

Follows all safety requirements, work rules, and company policies.

Assists in all other operations departments as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Can read a tape measure.

Has a basic understanding of technical drawings.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Often required to reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
