West Techs Chill Water Specialist is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair airconditioning systems in commercial and industrial environments. This position fits a technician who can confidently manage routine service calls independently while continuing to advance into more complex systems and highercapacity equipment.
You'll collaborate with our service leadership and technical teams to diagnose issues, restore equipment functionality, and provide a professional, customerfocused service experience.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment
Respond to scheduled service calls and complete work safely and efficiently
Assist with diagnostics and repairs on larger systems (25+ tons) as experience grows
Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, sequences of operation, and manufacturer literature
Evaluate system condition and support repair or replacement recommendations
Communicate findings, options, and next steps clearly to customers and team members
Accurately document service activity using company software
Participate in a rotating oncall schedule for emergency service needs
Provide feedback to leadership regarding training needs, parts usage, and jobsite concerns
Maintain companyissued vehicle, tools, and work areas in a clean, professional manner
Universal EPA Certification
Proven experience servicing commercial HVAC systems
Ability to read and apply electrical and mechanical documentation
Working knowledge of commercial troubleshooting methods
2–5 years of handson commercial HVAC experience (largetonnage exposure preferred)
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Ability to work independently while recognizing when escalation is appropriate
