Hello! We are seeking a bookkeeper of any experience level. In addition to keeping books, I'm hoping he/she can also do basic tax filing, other administrative duties, and other functions. I am available to help if things get tricky. We anticipate using Quickbooks.
The bookkeeper might fill fuctions for businesses that are not located on the farm or engage in other activities on farm.
We are a 10,000 acre farm in East Texas that is really more of a forest/logging-holdings. We are a staff of ~20. We do property management, logging, cattle, hay, and some pets. If you like hunting or fishing, this is a good place for you.
The pay is based on abilities/experience and is lower than what one would get at a normal corporate job, but the scenery is nice and the benefits are good because we are connected to a large finance firm.
Pay: $10.00 - $30.00 per hour
