Job Summary
The Returns Associate is responsible for processing customer and vendor returns accurately and efficiently, inspecting returned merchandise, and ensuring items are restocked, refurbished, or disposed of according to Navira's policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and inspect returned merchandise for condition and completeness
- Verify return authorization, receipts, or order documentation
- Determine appropriate disposition of returned items
- Repackage and relabel items for return to inventory when applicable
- Keep the returns area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
- Collaborate with customer service and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in retail, warehouse, or logistics preferred
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory or WMS systems a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs. for extended periods
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities and refunds
- Problem-solving ability for handling damaged or mismatched items
Work Environment
- Warehouse or stockroom setting at a Navira facility
- May require standing for long periods and repetitive lifting/bending
Work location in person, 7am-3:30pm Monday to Friday
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
