Responsibilities
- Physical security measures to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
- Manage access control systems to verify identities, perform checks, and regulate entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond swiftly to incidents by writing detailed incident reports, managing conflict de-escalation procedures, and executing emergency response protocols including CPR, AED operation, and first aid.
- Handle firearm handling responsibilities responsibly while adhering strictly to all firearm safety regulations and protocols.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for security equipment or during emergency situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies, providing accurate information and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Texas Level III Commission Security Officer License.
- Valid Texas P-Card in Hand.
- Dependable Transportation
- Clean background with no license suspensions.
- Shooting Qualification - Must score 230 two (2) times (50 Rounds each).
- Must have working firearm and tactical gear.
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of physical security practices.
- Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures; additional certifications such as Taser use are preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems.
- Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough incident report writing with clarity and precision.
- Skilled in conflict management techniques with a focus on de-escalation strategies to handle tense situations professionally.
- Physically capable of enduring long periods of patrolling or standing.
- Familiarity with compliance standards related to security regulations according to Texas Private Security program.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with the public and team members.
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
