Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when certified
- Pack items securely for transport, ensuring protection against damage during transit
- Assist with moving furniture and belongings within homes or commercial spaces with care and efficiency
- Operate various vehicles including box trucks or courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory management and proper placement of items
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, both on-site and within vehicles, to promote safety and efficiency
- Support team members with heavy lifting tasks, manual transmissions, or forklift operation as needed
Skills
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate professionally with clients during moves
- Previous warehouse experience or moving background preferred
- Valid driving license with experience in commercial driving or courier services; familiarity with route driving essential
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus; certification preferred but not required
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices for box trucks or similar vehicles
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while load & unload tasks are performed

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
