Position Summary
The Delivery Driver Merchandiser Helper assists the Delivery Driver in delivering, stocking, merchandising, rotating, and displaying Coca-Cola products at customer accounts throughout the assigned territory. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are delivered safely, stocked correctly, and merchandised according to company standards.
The Helper serves as a frontline representative of Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Minden and is expected to provide excellent customer service while supporting route productivity and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery Assistance
- Assist the Delivery Driver with unloading products at customer locations.
- Transport products from delivery vehicle into customer accounts.
- Verify product quantities against invoices and delivery documents.
- Assist with loading and securing products when necessary.
- Help maintain route schedules and delivery efficiency.
- Assist with product returns and damaged product collections.
Merchandising Responsibilities
- Stock shelves, coolers, displays, and back stock areas.
- Rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory procedures.
- Face and organize products according to company standards.
- Build and maintain displays as directed.
- Install point-of-sale materials and promotional signage.
- Remove damaged, outdated, or unsaleable products.
- Ensure shelves and coolers remain fully stocked and presentable.
Back Stock Management
- Work all assigned back stock at customer accounts.
- Organize stockrooms and storage areas.
- Consolidate product inventory when necessary.
- Replenish shelves and displays from back stock.
- Maintain clean and organized back rooms.
Customer Service
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and store personnel.
- Respond courteously to customer requests.
- Communicate account concerns to the Delivery Driver or management.
- Represent Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Minden in a professional manner at all times.
Equipment Responsibilities
- Stock and organize company-owned coolers.
- Assist with cooler resets and product transitions.
- Report equipment issues to the Delivery Driver or management.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and display areas.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Use proper lifting and material handling techniques.
- Assist with vehicle safety inspections when directed.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain safe work practices in customer locations and warehouses.
- Report accidents, injuries, and safety concerns immediately.
Daily Duties
- Report to assigned route on time.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.

- Previous beverage, warehouse, merchandising, or retail experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally move products weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.

The Delivery Driver Merchandiser Helper is responsible for:
- Assisting the Delivery Driver in completing all assigned route responsibilities.
- Working all assigned back stock before leaving an account.
- Maintaining Coca-Cola merchandising standards.
- Properly stocking and rotating products.
- Protecting company products and assets.
- Following all company policies and management instructions.
- Maintaining professional conduct with customers and coworkers.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
