Subsurface Specialist (GPR / Utility Locating) – Up to $3,500 Sign-On Bonus
Job Summary:
The Subsurface Specialist is a hybrid role combining hands-on field work and business development. This position is responsible for performing subsurface investigations while also building client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings strong technical experience, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to communicate solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform subsurface investigations using GPR and EM pipe locating technology
- Capture and deliver accurate field data, mark-outs, and reports
- Engage with clients before, during, and after services to ensure quality and satisfaction
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through site visits and networking
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and assist with pricing discussions
- Partner with internal teams to support project execution and client growth
- Maintain CRM records and represent the company at industry events
Qualifications:
- Experience in utility locating, GPR, or subsurface mapping
- Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (CRM experience a plus)
- Ability to travel locally and work in field environments
