Clinical Social Worker (CSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Associate (LPCA)

Position Summary: As a Counselor you will provide clinical services for our Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program (TRP) within our Behavioral Health Services Organization (BHSO) and in alignment with CARF-accredited standards. This role ensures high-quality treatment, regulatory compliance, and effective clinical judgement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and support clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Assist in leading treatment team meetings and promote a collaborative, client-centered approach.
Clinical Services:
- Conduct clinical assessments, formulate initial diagnoses, and determine appropriate levels of care.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling, including crisis intervention when necessary.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies based on best practices and clinical needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (intake, treatment plans, progress notes, reassessments, and discharge summaries).
Compliance & Professional Standards:
- Ensure documentation meets all DBHDID, BHSO, CARF, and agency requirements for accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
- Maintain working knowledge of current behavioral health trends, best practices, and regulatory updates.
- Participate in required supervision, team meetings, and administrative reviews.
- Represent the program professionally in court hearings when requested by the client or court order.
General Duties
- Submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Support agency initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active LPCA, CSW, or related licensure
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use, program leadership, or TRP operations preferred.
- Familiarity with BHSO and CARF standards strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced treatment environment.
- Commitment to evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered care.
License/Certification:
- LPCA/CSW license for KY (Required)
