Duties
- Assist with framing, and siding to ensure precise and durable structures
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble building materials
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project specifications and ensure quality workmanship
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as lumber.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws) and power tools (drills, saws) used in carpentry and general construction
- Experience in framing carpentry (wood or metal)
- Familiarity with windows, doors, roofing systems, siding installation
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
