Compensation & Role Overview
This is a performance-driven outside sales role focused on generating new commercial cleaning business throughout the greater Seattle area. The position is ideal for a motivated, relationship-oriented salesperson who enjoys prospecting, meeting new people, and being rewarded for results.
Compensation Structure
- $30,000 annual base salary
- 10% commission on collected revenue during the first 12 months of your new accounts
- 5% recurring commission on your retained accounts after the initial 12-month period
Commissions are based on collected revenue and paid bi-weekly. There is no cap on commissions.
Expected Earnings Potential
- Year 1: Approx. $60,000-$100,000+
- Year 2: Approx. $90,000-$140,000+
- Year 3: Approx. $130,000-$200,000+
Actual earnings will depend on sales performance, account retention, company growth, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new commercial cleaning opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and in-person visits
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their cleaning needs
- Conduct property walk-throughs and assist with preparing proposals
- Build and maintain relationships with property managers, business owners, and facility managers
- Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain an active sales pipeline
- Represent Seattle Surface Cleaners professionally within the community
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth customer onboarding
Experience & Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B sales, outside sales, or business development experience preferred
- Comfortable making cold calls and generating your own opportunities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Organized with good follow-up habits
- Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Local travel throughout the Seattle area is required
- Experience selling commercial services is a plus, but not required

We provide janitorial services, pressure washing, graffiti removal, exterior cleaning, and property support services for commercial buildings, property managers, HOAs, and Business Improvement Areas.
Our reputation has been built on responsiveness, reliability, and long-term customer relationships. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an energetic salesperson to help expand our commercial client base throughout the Puget Sound region.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
