About the Role
We are currently hiring a Lawn Care Technician II to join our growing Plant Health Care team. This is a mid-level, field-based role ideal for someone with hands-on lawn care experience who is confident working independently, diagnosing turf issues, and interacting directly with customers.
As a Lawn Care Technician II, you will manage your own service route, apply lawn treatments accurately, and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for customers. This role offers stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow your technical skills in turf health and plant care.
As a Lawn Care Technician your responsibilities will include:
- Perform professional lawn care applications including fertilization, weed control, and pest treatments
- Diagnose turf issues such as weeds, insects, disease, and nutrient deficiencies
- Recommend appropriate treatment plans and additional services based on lawn conditions
- Communicate directly with customers to explain services, answer questions, and provide guidance
- Manage a daily service route independently and efficiently
- Accurately complete service documentation, product usage logs, and site notes
- Ensure compliance with all safety, chemical handling, and state regulations
- Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and PPE
- Assist with training and mentoring entry-level Lawn Care Technicians as needed
