Childcare Attendant – Kinective Kids
About the Position
Kinective Fitness is seeking a dependable and caring Childcare Attendant to join our Kinective Kids team. This position helps provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children while their parents or guardians use the fitness facility.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, remains attentive in an active environment, and can communicate professionally with parents and team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide active and attentive supervision of children at all times
- Create a safe, positive, and welcoming childcare environment
- Organize age-appropriate games, activities, and entertainment
- Assist children with their needs while following Kinective Kids procedures
- Communicate professionally with parents and provide appropriate updates
- Respond calmly and effectively to behavioral concerns or emergencies
- Maintain accurate child check-in and check-out procedures
- Keep the childcare room, toys, and activity areas clean and organized
- Follow all company safety, sanitation, and childcare policies
- Notify management promptly of incidents, injuries, or parent concerns
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in childcare, daycare, babysitting, youth programs, or a related position preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred; certification may be obtained after hire
- Ability to supervise and engage children of different ages
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable, patient, attentive, and professional
- Ability to remain calm and make responsible decisions in an active environment
- Ability to complete required background screening and employment onboarding
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is warm, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children. This person should be comfortable managing different personalities and age groups while maintaining consistent supervision and a positive experience for Kinective families.
Regular schedule:
- Friday: 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 per hour
