Responsibilities
- Safely handle dogs during daily activities, feeding sessions, and enrichment to ensure a good experience for animals and staff.
- Provide basic animal care services to maintain the health and happiness of each dog.
- Support team members with animal handling tasks, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring behaviors.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and educating pet owners on pet care best practices.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to transport supplies, equipment, or animals safely within the facility.
Requirements
- Prior experience in dog handling, training, or animal care is highly preferred.
- Background in pet grooming, pet sitting, or kennel work demonstrates valuable animal handling skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
