Overview
As a Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for processing a variety of residential real estate transactions, including sales, refinances, equity loans. You will assist closer between all parties in the transaction, ensuring a seamless closing experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare closing documents, settlement statements, and coordinate parties for closing.
- Prepare documents for recording, disbursement, and issuance of title insurance.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all parties in the transaction.
- Obtain necessary instruments and demands to clear title.
- Ensure compliance with all terms of the purchase and sale agreement.
- Perform notary duties in accordance with National Notary Association standards.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in customer service.
- Ensure physical presence at the work location and adhere to a consistent work schedule.
- Work overtime as necessary.
Skills
- Experience as an escrow assistant/officer is a nice to have but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, title software, and organizational tools.
- Strong math, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of organizational development, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel up to 2% of the time.
- Commitment to the company’s core values.
- Notary Public commission is a plus.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
