ZHIHE GLOBAL INC is a Texas-based company providing automation commissioning and technical support services for AI-related facilities and equipment. Our services include equipment installation support, system commissioning, electrical and low-voltage support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and project coordination.
We are seeking a hands-on Automation & Electrical Commissioning Technician to support projects in Houston and surrounding areas. This field-based position focuses on equipment installation, wiring support, system setup and testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate has practical experience working with automation equipment, electrical and low-voltage systems, control panels, and related electromechanical equipment. Strong hands-on skills and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues are essential.
Responsibilities
- Support the on-site installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of automation and electromechanical equipment.
- Assist with power electrical systems, low-voltage systems, control panels, communication systems, and related wiring.
- Install automation software and configure equipment and system parameters.
- Test equipment and systems to confirm proper operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, electrical, communication, software, and control-system issues.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
- Assist with equipment acceptance testing and project closeout activities.
- Maintain accurate service records, technical documentation, and maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, contractors, project teams, and management.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, site policies, and project requirements.
- Perform other automation, electrical, commissioning, and equipment-support duties as assigned.
Skills
- Hands-on experience with automation equipment, electrical systems, low-voltage systems, controls, or electromechanical equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, electrical components, and safe work practices.
- Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Ability to use common hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Good communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites in Houston and surrounding areas.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete Form I-9 employment eligibility verification.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
