Job Summary
The Community Health Nurse is supervised by the Community Health Nurse Manager and works closely with the communities served by Neighborhood House across King County to promote entire family wellbeing, dignity, and health. This position supports the mission framework and strategic plan of Neighborhood House in both the Child Development (CD) department, and the Education and Community Services (ECS) departments. Within the CD department, the Community Health Nurse contributes to the school readiness and positive physical outcomes of low-income children in our Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Within the ECS department, the position contributes to client well-being by providing nursing assessments and case management services to elderly and/or disabled clients enrolled in our Medicaid waiver long term care programs.
This position will be work at many sites including our Head Start and Early Head Start Neighborhood House locations in Seattle, Burien, Tukwila, and includes home visits to clients in King County.

Pay: $43.97 - $48.83 per hour
