Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Manage the receipt and verification of incoming pharmacy shipments using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare outgoing orders by picking, packing, and labeling products according to specified procedures, utilizing order picker equipment and pallet jacks.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movements through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update stock levels to support inventory management accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with shipping logistics standards, trade regulations, international trade laws, and pharmacy-specific packaging requirements.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping or receiving issues promptly, providing excellent support throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations within a distribution or pharmacy environment.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and MS Office applications.
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance regulations.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock management and documentation.
- Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for team collaboration and issue resolution.
