About American DishOps
American DishOps is a Dallas-Fort Worth commercial dishwasher leasing and service company. We supply, install, and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment for restaurants, schools, hotels, and food service operations across DFW. We're growing — and we're looking for a skilled bilingual technician to grow with us.
What You'll Do
As our Commercial Dishwasher Technician, you'll be the person who keeps DFW kitchens running. Your daily work will include:
- Installing commercial dishwashers at customer locations (restaurants, schools, food service operators)
- Refurbishing used machines in our warehouse for redeployment
- Performing diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in the field
- Replacing pumps, solenoids, control boards, drain assemblies, and related components
- Communicating clearly with kitchen staff and managers (often in Spanish) to explain issues and timelines
- Keeping accurate service records and reporting job status
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with commercial dishwashing equipment — CMA and ADS machines preferred, but we'll consider any candidate with strong commercial dish machine background (Hobart, Jackson, Champion, Auto-Chlor)
- Bilingual English/Spanish — Strongly preferred (you'll be working in kitchens with Spanish-speaking staff)
- Mechanical aptitude — you can read a schematic, troubleshoot logically, and don't throw parts at problems
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Professional demeanor — you'll be a guest in our customers' kitchens
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in commercial kitchen environments (heat, humidity, tight spaces)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- 2+ years of commercial kitchen equipment service experience
- CFESA certification or similar
- Plumbing or electrical basics
- EPA refrigerant certification
