Role Overview:
We have a client in Crestwood, Kentucky area in need of your compassionate in-home care. Scheduling 12-hour care shifts on weekends and some overnights on weekdays for this client. Do YOU have this availability to provide high quality adult care?
Team members at Homewatch CareGivers of Louisville are responsible for providing exceptional one-on-one care to clients in their homes. You will collaborate closely with your team to ensure each client receives person-centered care which meets their individual needs. You will make positive differences in the lives of each client you care for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate person-centered care and assistance to clients.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Ensure clients receive medication reminders and other health-related support.

Transport clients to appointments or social activities as necessary.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, performing light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.

A clean background check

Be able to lift at least 40 lbs.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.

Flexibility to accommodate clients’ schedules and needs.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English.
Bonus If You:
- Have previous experience working as an adult caregiver, CNA, DSP, SRNA or PCA.

Possess specialized training in areas such as dementia care, Parkinson's care or stroke recovery.

Can provide references that speak to your caregiving skills.
Employment Type & Availability:
This PRN position requires either full time or part time availability on weekends and/or Monday through Friday.
Location:
This position is on-site only at individual adult client’s homes in Crestwood, Kentucky area, specifically. We also have OTHER clients located in Jefferson and Oldham counties.
