The Mid-Level Contract Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting organizational reporting, contract-related analysis, and operational data management across multiple business functions. This role develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and performance metrics while supporting contract administration, compliance tracking, and business operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and working knowledge of government or commercial contracting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and analyze recurring and ad hoc operational and contract-related reports
- Create dashboards and data visualizations to communicate performance metrics and key business insights
- Support contract administration activities, including tracking deliverables, modifications, periods of performance, and compliance requirements
- Analyze contract data, labor categories, funding information, and reporting requirements for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with program managers, finance teams, HR, and leadership to provide reporting support and operational insights
- Monitor and validate data integrity across reporting systems, spreadsheets, and databases
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with proposal reporting requirements, staffing reports, and contract performance metrics
- Support audit readiness and documentation efforts related to contracts and operational reporting
- Identify reporting process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation
- Maintain reporting schedules and ensure timely delivery of required reports
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting contract or operational performance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant reporting, analyst, or operations support experience
- Working knowledge of government contracting, procurement processes, or contract administration
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis)
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple reporting systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Optional but Strong for Mid-Level):
- Experience supporting federal government contracts or professional services environments
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS or contract compliance requirements
- Experience with ERP systems, contract management systems, or HRIS platforms
- Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, or data automation tools
- PMP, CPCM, or related certification (or progress toward certification)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
