Keep the Operation Moving
Planes don't fly without the equipment on the ground—and that equipment doesn't run without you. We're looking for a hands-on GSE Mechanic who lives for the satisfaction of diagnosing a problem, fixing it right, and signing off knowing it'll hold. From preventative maintenance to full teardowns and rebuilds, you'll own the work from start to finish, whether you're flying solo or teaming up with leadership.
Your Day-to-Day
- Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, replace, test, and reassemble ground equipment
- Knock out preventative maintenance before small issues become big ones
- Install, service, fabricate, and tow equipment in service or under modification
- Certify your own workmanship—including signing off on field work mechanical releases
- Manage parts and supply logistics: ordering, receiving, inventorying, and disbursing
- Operate vehicles up to 10 tons (up to 40 tons in select roles) safely in tight, busy spaces
- Work with color-coded wiring and components (accurate color differentiation required)
- Put a full range of hand and power tools to work
- Read technical manuals and keep maintenance records clean and accurate
- Run independently with minimal supervision while following company procedures
What You Bring
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Valid driver's license
- Ready to work rotating shifts, weekends (days off are typically during the week), and holidays
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly
- Sound judgment and common sense when diagnosing issues and making repair decisions
