Overview
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Laborers for Denarius Trading Company. This role is essential to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality handling of seafood products from arrival to shipment. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, physically capable, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Sort, clean, and pack various types of seafood according to company standards and customer specifications
- Order fulfillment, picking and packing orders
- Unload and load trucks
- Load and unload seafood shipments, including boxes, crates, and pallets
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and warehouse areas to meet sanitation and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring that products are protected during transit.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in order picking, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
- Forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in cold and wet environments
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail

- Fast-paced and physically demanding
- Exposure to strong odors and raw seafood products
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
