Premier Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Director, Behavioral Health who will be
responsible for the clinical administration and management of Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Services. Maintain a professional, positive and caring attitude at all times.
Duties
1. Manage large number of clinical and non clinical staff in a managed care environment
2. Develop, operationalize and manage inpatient and outpatient utilization management systems focused on behavioral health and Substance Use Disorders
3. Develop, operationalize and manage inpatient and outpatient case management systems focused on behavioral health and Substance Use Disorders
4. Develop, operationalize and manage condition management programs including the risk stratification of condition specific data focusing on behavioral health and substance use disorder programs
5. Manage 24 x 7 call center operations
6. Manage data analytics for all operating areas and maintain responsibility for all internal and external client reporting.
7. Ability to manage and negotiate w/ contracted providers and facilities; focusing on behavioral health and substance use disorders.
8. Be able and ready to be cross trained on other tasks as may be assigned, and willing to rotate jobs within the department or outside of department with the scope of the job description.
9. Follow and adhere to Company's standards of attendance policy, as it is pertinent to be available to assist patients, providers, contacted facilities and associates.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $147,000. per year to $160,000. per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Requirements:
Skills
1. Minimum Bachelors degree from accredited University, Masters preferred
2. Valid CA clinical license; RN, LCSW, PsyD, NP
3. Minimum 10 years management role Managed Care Environment, preferably in Behavioral health. Includes Utilization Management, Case management, Disease Management and Demand management experience
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent data management skills
6. Proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint
7. Proficiency in navigating multiple UM/CM platforms as well as EMR and PMS systems
8. Ability to handle and prioritize tasks in order to meet all given deadlines and productivity goals.
9. Ability to responsibly handle matters of a confidential nature.
10. Ability to work in a multi-task, high-productive environment.
Compensation: 147,000.00 - 160,000.00 per year
