Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to North Carolina Standard Course of Study for Math 1 & Math 2, including:
Linear, quadratic, and exponential relationships
Functions and modeling
Systems of equations and inequalities
Descriptive statistics, data analysis, and probability
Algebraic reasoning and mathematical justification
Use multiple instructional strategies (direct instruction, collaborative learning, problem-based learning, and math discourse) to meet diverse student needs
Regularly assess student understanding using formative and summative assessments
Analyze data to identify misconceptions and adjust instruction accordingly
Support students in developing conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and real-world application
Implement intervention and enrichment strategies as needed
Maintain a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
Collaborate with instructional coaches, PLCs, and support staff
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
Uphold school policies, expectations, and professional responsibilities
