The Business Development Representative is responsible for maintaining existing business relationships, developing, and establishing new business relationship census as defined through targeted goals of the business plan, and developing referral relationships within the geographic territory with an emphasis on face-to-face contacts. The Business Development Manager will represent the company at community related activities, market, establish, nurture, and solidify referral relationships for the Free-Standing ER on behalf of the company.
GENERAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATATIONS:
1. Identify and establish relationships with community groups, healthcare professionals, physicians, and clinics
2. Assist in developing marketing materials and maintain adequate inventory
3. Create and deliver marketing materials to existing referrals and new contacts
4. Help plan, coordinate, and execute the company's marketing efforts, including attending community events, tradeshows and marketing events
5. Create and deliver initiatives to current and prospective new business accounts
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all contacts, existing and new
7. Provide education and communication to the company for both new and existing business relationships
8. Serve as a resource person for processing purposes regarding forms, procedures, and workflow for existing and new business relationships
9. Meet weekly with Facility Administrator and/or Medical Director to discuss progress/problems
10. Troubleshoot any issues, problems and complaints with existing and new business relationships
11. Adheres to the company standards of business conduct and healthcare compliance
12. Performs other job duties as assigned by the CEO or Facility Administrator.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1. Must be enthusiastic and adaptable
2. Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and/or other electronic formats (i.e. SharePoint)
3. Independent thinking & detail oriented with the ability to track daily interactions with all business relationships
4. Ability to work independently without supervision
5. Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
6. Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively and professionally
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Associate's degree in medical or related field required, bachelor's degree preferred
2. 12 months of experience in marketing, advertising or sales
3. Valid Driver's License
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be available to work early and late days, on occasion, for Special Events (evenings and/ or weekends)
2. Required to dress in professional business attire
3. Dependable vehicle. Employee is responsible for upkeep of personal vehicle.
BENEFITS:
This is a Part-time, Contract position and not eligible for benefits.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
