TFCO (Treatment Foster Care Oregon) is looking for individuals or families to partner with The Guidance Center and join our program to support a child in need. Our Treatment Parents provide a safe and nurturing, supportive home 24/7 for a child for 6-9 months as they serve as an integral part of the youth’s treatment team!
Treatment Parents receive specialized training and 24/7 on-call support!
Requirements Include:
- CHILDREN WILL RESIDE IN YOUR HOME ON A 24/7 BASIS AS PART OF THE CARE ARRANGEMENT.
- Must have an AVAILABLE single bedroom as TFCO youth are not allowed to share rooms.
- Basic knowledge of child and adolescent development.
- Bring patience, sense of humor, and a genuine commitment to supporting families.
Responsibilities Include:
- Fulfilling the youth's basic needs, supporting their emotional well-being.
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment for youth development.
- Working with our TFCO clinical team to achieve the child's treatment goals, including reunification with their family.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $97.35 per day
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Working with children: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
