PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Sheffield Steel Inc., a trusted name in the steel processing industry, is looking for a dependable, hardworking PRODUCTION COORDINATOR to join our team at our Macedonia, Ohio facility. This role is ideal for individuals who want to develop a career in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately confirm and tag incoming and production materials to ensure proper identification and inventory tracking.
- Locate materials as required to support production and shipping requirements.
- Liaison between sales and operations.
- Data entry and updating as necessary.
- Help manage inventory and supply of consumables.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet operational and shipping deadlines and requirements.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support operations.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Intermediate-level computer proficiency, with the ability to navigate systems, perform data entry, and use standard office or warehouse software.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic mechanical ability and comfort working with tools and machinery.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
